2004 AIIM Expo Best of Show Award
Scan-Optics received the coveted "Best of Show" award at the 2004 AIIM Conference and Exposition in March. The award was given out by the editors of AIIM E-Doc Magazine, and recognized the creative use of technology, business value, and return on investment in Enterprise Content Management Solutions. The SO Series was selected out of a number of other entries in the high-volume scanning category.

The Best of Show Award recognizes the Enterprise Content Management hardware and software technologies on exhibit at the AIIM 2004 Conference and Exhibition that demonstrate exceptional capabilities and quality, and show evidence of significant ROI (Return on Investment) potential. A panel of 19 industry experts evaluated products from over 225 companies and presented awards in ten categories.

2003 TAWPI Hall of Fame Award Winner
The TAWPI Hall of Fame award is given each year to recognize and honor organizations for significant contributions made to the information capture industry and to the TAWPI organization. The award selection committee searches for candidates that have demonstrated ongoing and profound contributions to the industry, and an inspired history of leadership that has encouraged the development and application of new concepts and technologies in process improvement.

1998 Industry Week magazine selected Scan-Optics as one of its “IW Top 25 Growing Companies – America’s Most Successful Small Manufacturers.” The twenty-five small manufacturers named to this list are selected based on their use of “best practices in management and manufacturing”.

1998 Connecticut Award for Excellence
The Nutmeg Award is Connecticut’s award for excellence – Scan-Optics was one of only two manufacturing companies recognized for this prestigious award modeled after the National Malcolm Baldridge Quality Award.
