Gideon Agar
  Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Agar has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry, including almost 8 years with Cisco Systems and their affiliated companies. During his tenure with Cisco, he led a team responsible for developing and selling solutions to customers’ strategic network management problems and a team responsible for nurturing the growth of key OEM partner companies.
In addition, he has held executive roles including CEO of a London-based company that developed proprietary software technology for data network analysis and infrastructure and routing optimization.
Gideon’s breadth of experience includes President of a Houston-based process control company, CEO of a small private equity fund in London, and Design & Development Manager at Oracle Corp in Redwood City, CA.
Gideon has a strong background in international sales, business development, strategic partnerships and acquisitions. He earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and English Literature from Brown University in Providence, RI and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and three children.

 
Richard Lieberfarb
Richard Lieberfarb Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Lieberfarb joined Scan-Optics in Febraury 2006, as Vice President of Finance and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in August 2007. Mr. Lieberfarb brings to Scan-Optics experience in strategic planning, business development, team building and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Lieberfarb has demonstrated consistent achievement in diverse industries including aviation, software development, publishing, database management, and pharmaceutical consulting.

 
Raymond Parker
  Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Mr. Parker has nearly 20 years of successful US and international operations, sales and marketing management leadership experience in the digital imaging, document management and BPO services industries. This includes 5 years in Europe with Pitney Bowes Management Services as President, International Operations and prior to that, key assignments with Danka Services International as VP, Sales and Operations North America; VP-General Manager, Kodak Imaging Services, Europe; VP New Technologies Qualex, Inc., Kodak’s photo-imaging subsidiary; and senior assignments with Kodak, based in Korea and SE Asia.
Ray earned an MBA at the University of Rochester’s Simon School and an MA in European History at Duquesne University. Ray is fully certified in Lean Six Sigma deployment.

 
Earl Brazeal
  Director of Engineering

Mr. Brazeal is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering. He has been with Scan Optics for more than 25 years. His focus has been in the development of advanced imaging and processing systems. His current responsibilities cover the direction of the Engineering group, which includes the disciplines of Software, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering and research into advanced technologies for scanning, lighting, optics, and paper control.
He lives in the town of Woodstock, Connecticut with his wife Beverly; they have four children and 9 grandchildren.

 
Joseph Grossi
  Director of BPO

Mr. Grossi joined Scan-Optics in February 2007. He has over 11 years in the document management industry and has held various positions including project manager, director of imaging and director of operations. In 11 years, he has scanned over 350 million pages, processed over 150 million documents, and printed over 400 million pages.

 
Pete Moralee
Travis Swinson Managing Director, Scan-Optics Limited (UK)

Mr. Moralee joined Scan-Optics in March 1983 as a Supervisor in our Customer Service area. His progression with the company has included management positions in technical support, customer service, and quality management. Mr. Moralee was named Managing Director of Scan-Optics’ UK subsidiary in 1996. Prior to Scan-Optics, Mr. Moralee held an account management position with Scan Data (now BancTec). Mr. Moralee has over 28 years of experience in scanning/imaging, data capture, data processing, and document management.
